Resin bound surfaces are one of the fastest-growing home improvement products in the UK, chosen by homeowners and commercial clients for its durability, flexible design options, low maintenance and permeable characteristics (SUDS compliant & recommended for flood risk areas).
Utilisation of existing suitable bases
Resin bound mixtures can go over existing tarmac or concrete surfaces without affecting the drainage fall or critical levels. Existing concrete or tarmac driveways can be rejuvenated with a beautiful hardwearing finish.
Creative designs
Curves, motifs, letters or numbers can be included to create contrasting borders or decorative effects.
Low maintenance
Unlike other surfaces including block paving, resin bound surfacing does not support the growth of weeds. A quick sweep will remove any leaves or debris. Resin is also extremely stain resistant to most chemicals including petrol and diesel oil.
Seamless finish
There are no loose stones or unnecessary joints which make it great for accessibility. Unsightly drainage covers can be replaced with recessed ones and then filled with resin bound making them a part of the surface. These together with excellent slip resistance makes it a perfect choice for car parks, driveways paths, patio areas, or any other paving and landscaping projects.
Permeable
Water drains away naturally through the surface: no puddles or extra drainage requirements. Resin is SUD’s Compliant (Sustainable Urban Drainage) and thus suitable for areas prone to flood risk.
